A British citizen who converted to Christianity from Islam and then complained to police when locals threatened to burn his house down was told by officers to “stop being a crusader”, according to a new report.

Nissar Hussein, 43, from Bradford, West Yorkshire, who was born and raised in Britain, converted from Islam to Christianity with his wife, Qubra, in 1996. The report says that he was subjected to a number of attacks and, after being told that his house would be burnt down if he did not repent and return to Islam, reported the threat to the police. It says he was told that such threats were rarely carried out and the police officer told him to “stop being a crusader and move to another place”. A few days later the unoccupied house next door was set on fire.

A teenage Iraqi girl who fell in love with a British soldier when he was in Basra was murdered by her father in an "honour killing", it was revealed today.

Rand Abdel-Qader, 17, was suffocated and then hacked at with a knife after her family discovered she was friends with the 22-year-old soldier who she knew only as Paul.

The pair first met when Rand was working on an aid project for displaced families but it is thought the soldier is unaware of the girl's fate.

She was stamped on, suffocated and stabbed - leaving her with puncture wounds all over her body, including her face.

Her own mother, Leila Hussein, has spoken out about the crime, revealing how her husband called out that he was cleansing "his honour" as he carried out the murder.

She told the Observer he was arrested after the brutal murder but was released without charge two hours later because it was an "honour killing".

Sgt Ali Jabbar of Basra police said: "Not much can be done when we have an 'honour killing'. You are in a Muslim society and women should live under religious laws."

A Tunisian court is looking into an unprecedented rape case filed by a Tunisian family against a man who allegedly "raped" their daughter over the phone during an erotic call, press reports said on Thursday.

The defendant, 30, denied having ever touched the 20-year-old victim, but admitted that in one of their phone calls, while they were "totally into it," he heard her scream and say that a few drops of blood had come out of her.

The victim's lawyer, Maha al-Metebaa, told Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Qabs that the forensic report showed that the girl had lost her virginity recently, but was not subjected to any sexual assault.

According to Metebaa, this supports the fact that the phone call was the reason.

But Metebaa said this was an unprecedented case that required the court's thorough investigation and jurisprudence to reach a decision.

"The intercourse did take place with all its details but verbally only. The sexual act did not really happen because the physical proximity factor is not there, yet it happened because there is a direct physical impact – the loss of virginity."

Hirsi Ali was born in Somalia and became a Dutch lawmaker before moving to Washington, D.C. Secretly-filmed footage from the inside of an alleged terrorist bomb factory has been shown in court.

Police concealed a camera inside a Walthamstow flat in the summer of 2006 as they closed in on a gang of suspected Islamic fanatics.

Woolwich Crown Court was shown a short clip of two men, Abdulla Ahmed Ali and Tanvir Hussain, inside the property.

Norway: One-quarter of Prisoners Are Foreigners

Some 25 percent of prisoners in Norwegian jails are citizens of other countries than Norway.

This is a huge jump from 2003, when just 15 percent of the prisoners were non-Norwegians, reports Aftenposten.no.

For comparison, just 5 percent of those living in Norway are not Norwegian citizens.

The Justice Department report reveals that 683 prisoners began serving sentences in 2007, although the actual figure could be higher, as the report only counts sentences and doesn’t include criminals who are directly transferred from arrest to imprisonment.

The list of nationalities in Norwegian jails is topped by Poland, Iraq, Lithuania, Sweden, and Somalia.

Norway: Terrorist Sentenced To Deportation, Stays Anyway

Mullah Krekar, former head of Islamic guerrilla group Ansar al Islam (linked to Al Qaeda), is the only person ever to be sentenced to deportation in Norway.

He is considered to be a threat to the national security.

Krekar is the founder of Islamic guerrilla group Ansar al Islam, he has been linked to pro al-Qaida sites and he also says the the Religion of Peace gives Muslims the right to kill Australian and American troops.

This creature is finally sentenced to be deported. Except, he's not going anywhere.

Here's why:

However, Norway has not been able to deport Krekar because he faces the death penalty in his homeland. Norway will not extradite anyone if they are under threat of execution when they are returned to their country of origin.

You see, 1) it's dangerous for him to go to his home country. 2) He is a danger for the Norwegian citizens. 3) The most political correct option is to let him stay.

So the terrorist stays, even when considered a threat to the national security.

Because the terrorist could be susceptible to harm.

European logic in a nutshell.

As you've understood already, the main reason for not sending him back to his homeland Iraq, is that he could face death penalty.

Strange thing is though, he's been to Iraq in several occasions leading "guerrilla activities":

A little over two weeks ago Kaja Bordevich Ballo (20) committed suicide - a few hours after she'd recieved a devastating result on a personality test administrated by the Church of Scientology.

The police in the southern French town of Nice - where Kaja studied at the university of Nice Sophia Antipolis - are investigating the controversial church's connection to the event.

Kajas father is the noted politician Olav Gunnar Ballo (SV), a member of parliament for years, vice president of Odelstinget and fearless healthcare spokesperson for his party. Maried to Ballo and mother of Kaja is Heidi Sørensen (SV). Sørensen has previously been the leader of Naturvernforbundet and a member of parliament, she is now a undersecretary of state at Miljøverndepartementet.

The news VG publishes today, are printed after agreement with Ballo himself, and the rest of Kaja's family.

- The information about the Scientology test has been made public through the priest's speech at the memorial service. I can confirm that. Due to the recency of her death, I don't wish to elaborate on or comment on other matters now, Olav Gunnar Ballo told VG.

Kaja died on March 28, and was buried at Grefsen church last friday. A large group of friends followed her to the grave. Many were also in support during a memorial held in the Stortinget the same afternoon.

Personality test

According to information VG has received, the connection to the Scientologists was made after the family found a completed personality test and the Church of Scientology's analysis of what they contend is her personality, in Kaja's 17 sqm student room after her death.

The test had been timestamped and dated: It had been taken the same day as her death. The Church of Scientology have their premises only a few meters from the student home where Kaja lived.

Henrik Møinichen (19), a fellow student of Kaja, tells VG that he walked with Kaja to the university and class at nine o'clock on friday the 28 of March.

- In my opinion she was as usual. She participated in class as usual, talked and was happy, Møinichen told VG.

After the class in French for foreigners was over at 11 o'clock, Henrik left for the Nice airport to meet his father. Henrik lives in the neigboring room to Kaja. The last he heard of her, was that she was walking around her room at three-four o'clock in the afternoon. He was out of his room the rest of the day with his father.

As far as VG has been able to discern no friends or acquaintances had been in contact with the 20-year-old between the timestamp of the test, and the time at which she was found dead.

Vulnerable spot

- The test was found at her place by the family. After she was finished at school I've heard she went to buy clothes for someone. This is how she supposedly came in contact with the Church of Scientology, Møinichen says.

From what VG has been told Kaja received an extremely bad result on the test.

- I have a feeling that something must have happened suddenly, that they hit a vulnerable spot. Personally I believe that Kaja had been alive today if she hadn't been in contact with the scientologists. I had the impression that she enjoyed Nice. She often spoke of the the future and her plans at the university, said Møinichen.

Matthias Fosse (above), spokesperson for Scientology Norway, says (link in Norwegian) it is unfair to blame the Church of Scientology. He also said the personality test had nothing to do with Kaja Ballo's suicide.

Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK) reported Tuesday evening that French police are checking alleged links between the suicide of Kaja Bordevich Ballo, age 20, and the Scientologists.

"All indications are that the Scientologist sect has played a direct role in Kaja's choice to take her own life," another member of parliament, Inga Marte Thorkildsen, and an acquaintance of the younger Ballo, told Oslo newspaper Dagbladet.

Psychologist Rudy Myrvang said a test like the one administered by the Scientologists is not constructive, and rather aimed "at breaking you down, and then they'll offer to build you up again." It's a recruitment tool, he said, and a means of generating future income for the church.

A church critic, Andreas Heldal-Lund, agreed, claiming the Scientologists viewed people like Ballo as "'raw meat from the street.' You're told you're worth nothing."

Fosse rejected such claims, and denied the church preys on young, impressionable people.

A 78-year-old Swedish man was fed up with thefts at his local bank.

One day he saw an opportunity to do something about it:

Törnberg was on his way out of the bank recently when a car pulled up and three armed men dressed in heavy jackets and masks jumped out.

“It just came to me to do something. I had a camera in my car and I thought I could maybe get a picture of their car,” he explained.

Törnberg grabbed his camera and a metal tool from his car and set off to snap a photo of the robbers’ vehicle.

Just then, the man on lookout come out from the other side the robbers' car and pointed an automatic weapon directly at Törnberg’s chest.

But the retired prison worker wasn’t afraid.

Rather than flee, he instead started walking toward the gun-wielding man.

“I wanted to get closer to get a better picture,” he said.

Later he used the metal tool to knock down the same robber.

All three suspects were eventually arrested.

A sermon last Friday by a prominent Muslim cleric and Hamas member of the Palestinian parliament openly declared that "the capital of the Catholics, or the Crusader capital," would soon be conquered by Islam.

The fiery sermon, delivered by Yunis al-Astal and aired on Hamas' Al-Aqsa TV, predicted that Rome would become "an advanced post for the Islamic conquests, which will spread though Europe in its entirety, and then will turn to the two Americas, even Eastern Europe."

"Allah has chosen you for Himself and for His religion," al-Astal preached, "so that you will serve as the engine pulling this nation to the phase of succession, security and consolidation of power, and even to conquests through da'wa and military conquests of the capitals of the entire world.

"Very soon, Allah willing, Rome will be conquered, just like Constantinople was, as was prophesized by our prophet Muhammad," he added.

Al-Astal last June preached how it was the duty of Palestinian women to martyr themselves by becoming homicide bombers.

"The most exalted form of jihad is fighting for the sake of Allah, which means sacrificing one's soul by fighting the enemies head-on, even if it leads to martyrdom," he said in a June 23, 2007 interview.

"When jihad becomes an individual duty, it applies to women too, because women do not differ from men when it comes to individual duties," he said, calling Jews "the brothers of apes and pigs" who should "taste the bitterness of death."

Friday's rant repeated that theme: "Today, Rome is the capital of the Catholics, or the Crusader capital, which has declared its hostility to Islam, and has planted the brothers of apes and pigs in Palestine in order to prevent the reawakening of Islam.

"I believe that our children, or our grandchildren, will inherit our jihad and our sacrifices, and, Allah willing, the commanders of the conquest will come from among them.

"Today, we instill these good tidings in their souls – and by means of the mosques and the Koran books, and the history of our Prophets, his companions, and the great leaders, we prepare them for the mission of saving humanity from the hellfire at whose brink they stand."

DHAKA (Reuters) - Hundreds of members of a group campaigning for Islamic rule in Bangladesh clashed with police on Friday over a plan to give women the same inheritance rights as men.

Police fired teargas and used batons to break up the protests after members of the Islami Constitution Movement (ICM) threw rocks and stones as they emerged from Friday prayers at a mosque in the centre of the capital Dhaka, witnesses said.

Among the injured were cameramen of local television channels filming the protests and policemen, officials said. A police officer described the scene as a "virtual battlefield."

The activists' ire was triggered by reports of a draft law in the local media that gives equal inheritance rights, including property, to men and women.

The ICM, which is one of several groups campaigning for sharia-based laws in Bangladesh, said the proposed women's rights law was against a Koranic law of inheritance.

"We are not against women's rights, but it has to be according to the guidelines of Islam," said Mohammad Ismail, a protester.

"The draft that the government prepared is totally anti-Islamic. We will not allow it to be passed," said another protester Kawser Ahmed.

Mashad, 10 April (AKI) - A top Shia cleric in Iran has said that unveiled women are a serious danger to Iranian society as they cause men to be "transformed into beasts".

"Women without the veil are a danger that the authorities underestimate," said Hojatolislam Seyyed Ahmad Elmalhoda, a powerful cleric who leads the Friday prayers in Mashad, a site considered sacred for Shia Muslims as it houses the shrine of Imam Reza.

"This situation is very serious in that if men see these bad women, they will turn into beasts, and then the whole of society will have to pay the consequences."

According to the Shia cleric, women who do not respect conservative Islamic dress rules are "sources of all that is bad in society."

I do not know whether the top cleric has outed his opinion about the Iranian Police Chief who likes naked praying prostitutes.

Or maybe not.

He (and many, many more) is actually quoting the Quran when justifying the killing of thousands of innocents infidels.

But remember, there is no link between Islam and terrorism.

Pakistan police: Muslim workers beat Hindu man to death for alleged blasphemy:

KARACHI, Pakistan: Police say Muslim workers at a factory in Pakistan have beaten to death a Hindu colleague after accusing him of blasphemy against Islam's prophet.

Karachi police chief Niaz Siddiqui said workers at a leather factory fatally beat the 27-year-old Hindu man on Tuesday after a debate about religion became heated.

Siddiqui said the laborers told police that the victim was defaming the Prophet Muhammad. Police said they prevented the mob from burning the corpse and are investigating several people for suspected murder.

Conservative Philip Davies (MP) straightens things out:

“They are not that committed to their religion if they are willing to breach it to commit a crime in the first place.

“We must be a laughing stock among some members of the Muslim community. We must make it clear they are going to have to fall in line. If they do not like it they should not have committed the crime. We have to stop bending over backwards to accommodate every request on the grounds it offends one faith or another.”

Good news!: Libya Releases 90 Islamists

Libyan authorities released 90 members of a group with suspected links to al-Qaida after they renounced violence, a government-backed group said.

Those released from a Tripoli jail on Tuesday were members of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, which purportedly has links to the terror network. They were serving prison terms ranging from 10 years to life after being convicted of belonging to a banned organization and carrying out illegal activities.

School Principal Caught at Motel Smoking Marijuana and Watching Porn with Teen Sisters

The Elementary School Principal, while wearing only a shirt and boxer shorts, was drinking alcohol, smoking marijuana and watching porn with a 16-year-old girl. And her younger sister.

Daniel Markofsky, 47, of Richmond, was caught over the weekend in Glendale, Wis., at a Super Motel 8 with two teen sisters, 15 and 16, according to police.

Police alleged Markofsky and the two girls were smoking marijuana, drinking alcohol and watching pornographic material. The sisters were from the Milwaukee area, according to police.

The Chicago Tribune reported that on Saturday a Glendale police officer knocked on the door of his room after smelling marijuana, according to the report. The report said Markofsky answered wearing a shirt and boxer shorts.

The school did not wish to comment.

Professor Samsioe, an adjust at Lund's Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology explained that the body’s “everyday, natural, movements” stimulate the development of elastic tissue beneath the skin responsible for supporting breasts.

“If natural movement is restricted by a bra that is too tight, it can affect the growth of these tissues,” he said.

Samsioe cites a French study on women ages 18 to 25 which found that the distance between a woman’s nipples and the ground decreased in women who wore bras.

“Bras caused nipple height to sink slightly,” he said, going on to explain that the women in the study who wore bras ended up with breasts that hung a bit lower than women who went without bras.

Is this why Swedish women demand that they be allowed to strip off at pools?

Indonesia: Youtube and Myspace Censored Because of "Fitna"

At least three Internet companies say they have blocked access to YouTube and MySpace because of an anti-Islam film by a Dutch lawmaker.

The move Tuesday was in response to an order by the Indonesian government.

IndosatM2, a popular Internet Service Provider, and two other companies said they had temporarily blocked YouTube, MySpace and three other video-sharing Web sites.

It was not immediately clear if the country's other seven or so providers were following suit.

Tip: If you´re easily offended, try not to click on the scandalizing link thingie.

The Netherlands Islamic Federation Loses In Court

Dutch politician Geert Wilders compared Islam with Fascism, for which he received the usual from the Misunderstanders.

The Netherlands Islamic Federation even brought the case to court.

They lost bigtime:

The NIF considered that Wilders had broken the law by comparing Islam with Fascism, calling the Koran the Islamic version of Hitler's Mein Kampf and the Prophet Mohammed a barbarian. All remarks are legal, the court decided yesterday.

The judge will probably get fatwa'd next Friday:

NIF did not disprove that ideas are prevalent in Islam that are at odds with democratic principles. The group also did not succeed, according to the judge, in refuting Wilders' view of Mohammed being a barbarian.

Will the NIF bring the judge to court too?

'Airline terror plotters wanted heavy casualties':

British Muslim extremists planned to blow up a series of trans-Atlantic jets in terrorist attacks of an "almost unprecedented" scale, a court heard today.

Eight men are accused of plotting to explode home-made liquid bombs on passenger jets flying from London to cities in the US and Canada. The airlines involved would have been Air Canada, United Airlines and American Airlines.

They aimed to inflict "heavy casualties" on an "unwitting civilian population", all in the name of Islam, jurors were told.

The result would have had a "violent and deadly, global impact", the court heard.

Message to Muslims: stop spending time on shouting "islamophobia, islamophobia". Instead, commence criticizing your fellow worshippers for killing in the name of your religion.

Dutch legislator Geert Wilders who produced the anti-Islam film "Fitna", has a character flaw which in the psychological term can be defined as sadistic, says a psychologist.

Psychology professor Dr Rosnah Ismail from Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) said such a person lacked human feelings and was inclined to enjoy violence.

"The more violent it is, the more he likes and enjoys it," said Rosnah, who is also the director of the university's Research and Innovation Centre.

Apparently, Dr. Rosnah Ismail overlooked commenting on the barbarous acts committed by the misunderstanders of Islam portrayed in Geert Wilders movie "Fitna".

Wilders didn't fly a plane into a skyscraper. The misunderstanders of Islam did.

BBC Scared of The Religion of Peace

BBC is too scared of Islam, says Ben Elton:

“There’s no doubt about it, the BBC will let vicar gags pass but they would not let imam gags pass.”

He said the BBC might pretend that this hesitancy had something to do with moral sensibilities. “But it isn’t. It’s because they’re scared.”

Elton said the situation was so bad that even everyday sayings were frowned upon: “I wanted to use the phrase ‘Mohammed came to the mountain’ and everybody said, ‘Oh, just don’t! Just don’t! Don’t go there!’

“It was nothing to do with Islam, I was merely referring to the old proverb, ‘If the mountain won’t come to Mohammed, Mohammed must go to the mountain’. And people said, ‘Let’s just not!’ It’s incredible.”

Ehsan Jami Not To Release His Movie "The Life of Mohammed" Because Of Fear

Ehsan Jami says the Dutch Government wouldn't be able to protect him from the misunderstanders of Islam.

Film 'Worse than Fitna' Abandoned over Fatwa Fear:

Ehsan Jami is not to release his animation film The Life of Mohammed. After consultations with his advisors, Jami is abandoning the plan to show his film, which was to be released on 20 April.

"Minister Hirsch Ballin (Justice) has stated that he fears the film will drive a wedge through our society. That was never my intention", said Jami. He added however that he does not believe the Dutch government is capable of protecting him against death threats.

One of Jami's advisors is philosopher and columnist Afshin Ellian. Like Jami, Ellian was born in Iran. Last week, Ellian stated that the young Jami (22) perhaps failed to recognise the consequences of the release of his animation film for his safety.

The abandoned film contains a drawing depicting the prophet Mohammed with an erection. He is seen leading a 9 year old girl to a mosque bearing a swastika, in order to have sex with her. According to Jami, the cartoon represents the story of Mohammed who marries Aisha, as described in the Koran.

In his own columns, Ellian criticises Islam and Dutch appeasement politics on an almost daily basis. In spite of this, he advised Jami to abandon the film because Jami will likely be faced in his view with a Fatwa similar to the one issued against Salman Rushdie following the publication of his book The Satanic Verses.

However, Mr. Jami will start on a new film. Let's just hope he will be able to publish it without risking his life.

It's going to be challenging because the leading figure will be Muhammad...

Indonesia Threatens Youtube

Indonesian threatens to block YouTube access over anti-Muslim film:

Indonesia said Tuesday it would block access to YouTube unless the video-sharing Web site removes an anti-Muslim film by a Dutch lawmaker within 48 hours.

Communications and Information Minister Mohammad Nuh said the government sent a letter to the site informing it of its demand on Tuesday.

"The deadline is two days. If (the film) is not removed by that time, we will block YouTube under cooperation with the Internet service providers," Nuh told reporters in the capital, Jakarta.

"Islam is a holy religion":

"Islam is a holy religion," Shodiq Ramadan told about 50 protesters who shouted in agreement. "Those who have insulted it deserve to be sentenced to death."
