Fridays WTF!: Sexually Aroused By Women’s Bicycles

In Sweden:

A 36-year-old man has been indicted for satisfying himself on the seats of women’s bicycles.

The man was charged for sexual molestation and damages after police found traces of his semen on the saddle of a woman's bike, according to the Östersunds-Posten newspaper.

The man was first reported in the spring of 2006 when police found sperm during an investigation involving a slashed bicycle tyre.

The breakthrough in the case came after a woman reported seeing the man carry away her bicycle and then start rubbing up against it.

The man was arrested last July and taken into custody.

The 36-year-old man has confessed to the crimes, explaining that he felt an overwhelming calm wash over him when he approached women’s bicycles and smelled the handlebars.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali Gets Police Protection in EU

Good sense and reason prevailed:

Ayaan Hirsi Ali, the Somali-born Dutch activist facing death threats for her outspoken criticism of Islam, is to come under national police protection anywhere in the European Union, the top justice official in Brussels said tonight.

Franco Frattini, the European commissioner for justice and home affairs, told the Guardian that Hirsi Ali and any other persons facing threats to their lives because of their opinions or writings, would be guaranteed protection wherever they went in Europe and that the host country would bear the expense.

The issue was discussed at a lunch of all 27 interior ministers of the EU in Brussels today after being raised by the Dutch. Frattini said the ministers agreed and that the pact would be effective immediately based on "unanimous consensus".
Some of the EU officials were taken by surprise:
Other European sources doubted whether such an agreement could be implemented so promptly.

British sources said a pan-European deal could not be "that simple" since there were cost and legal implications to authorising such special police measures.

"There can't possibly be political agreement on it," said an official.

"Kill Geert Wilders"

Update: Watch "Fitna" here: The Movie "Fitna" Is Online - Torrent File of English Full Version For Download. Update: Youtube video added

Wilders death threats confirmed:

The anti-Koran film planned by Dutch MP Geert Wilders has led to several threats against his life. This was confirmed by a representative of the Dutch National Coordinator for Counterterrorism following a report in today's issue of the newspaper, De Telegraaf.

The paper reports a death threat found on a website linked to al-Qaeda. It says that Geert Wilders must be killed because he insults Islam and the prophet Muhammad.

Mr Wilders, who leads the Party for Freedom (PVV), wants the Koran banned in the Netherlands because, he says, it is a fascistic book that initiates violence.
The movie "Fitna" is to be finished this week.

On the other hand, Germany's interior minister is the anti-dhimmi of the week:
«I have respect for the fact that Danish newspapers have now all printed the Muhammad caricatures, on the basis (that) we will not let ourselves be divided,» Interior Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble was quoted as saying by the weekly Die Zeit.

«Actually, all European newspapers should now print these caricatures, with the explanation: 'We also find them lousy, but the exercise of press freedom is no reason to practice violence,»' Schaeuble added, according to the report.

Get Ready For Geert Wilders Film "Fitna"

Update: Watch "Fitna" here: The Movie "Fitna" Is Online - Torrent File of English Full Version For Download. Update: Youtube video added

"Fitna" is arabic for "ordeal":

1. A difficult or painful experience, especially one that severely tests character or endurance.
2. A method of trial in which the accused was subjected to physically painful or dangerous tests, the result being regarded as a divine judgment of guilt or innocence.

Outrage expected by March 2008:
Dutch far-right deputy Geert Wilders said in an interview published Saturday that his controversial anti-Islam film will be called "Fitna" , arabic for ordeal, and will be aired in March.

The leader of the Freedom party (PVV), which has nine of 150 seats in parliament, said in November that he planned to make a short film showing that Islam's holy book, the Koran, is "a fascist book" that "incites people to murder".

According to the interview with Dutch GPD news agency, Wilders' 15-minute film is almost done, and he hopes it will be shown on Dutch television in March. He had initially said it would air at the end of January.

Wilders said he has called the film Fitna, an arabic word that in Islam is used to describe all things that can test the faith and is sometimes synonymous to evil.

"I use the term in an inverse sense because for me Islam ... is fitna," he said.
There'll be a picture of Mo' at the end.

The teaser: "Something will happen to that picture but I won't say what", Wilders said.

Update: According to Gilles Kepel, scholar and analyst of the Islamic and the Arab world: "fitna is sometimes translated by sedition, that is the fact that the Muslim community is fragmented because it has lost sense of proportions and realities, of maslaha, and that it is therefore delivered to the demons of extremism and is going towards its fall. It is the jihad which returns as a boomerang inside and weakens the community. The fitna is the ulemas' obsessive fear since Islam exist."
