Sweden To Pay For Imams Education

And what will the Swedish Education Ministry teach them? Swedish laws?

Social Democrat member of parliament Luciano Astudillo wants to tell muslims what islam ought to be like:

The Swedish government is ready to invest in the education of imams. But Muslim organizations must first reach agreement regarding their needs, said Education Minister Lars Leijonborg when the issue was discussed in parliament on Tuesday.

Leijonborg's approach was criticized however by Social Democrat member of parliament Luciano Astudillo, who argued that the time for waiting was over. He felt that a third level institution should immediately be given the task of setting a curriculum based on consultation with Muslim interest groups.

There are around 400,000 Muslims living in Sweden, ranging from the wholly secular to the most devout. According to Astudillo, it is futile to expect that organizations that are as different as night and day will be able to come to some sort of agreement.

"We need to answer the question: what do we want Islam to be? How do we want that religion to develop?" said Astudillo.

There is no way you could influence an imam's perception of islam.

Let's hope they do better than the neighbors the danes...

Pittsburgh Islamic Leader Wants To See Ayaan Hirsi Ali Killed

In Pittsburgh:

Islamic leaders tried to block the lecture, which was sponsored through an endowment from the Frank J. and Sylvia T. Pasquerilla Lecture Series. They argued that Hirsi Ali’s attacks against the Muslim faith in her book, “Infidel,” and movie, “Submission,” are “poisonous and unjustified” and create dissension in their community.

Although university officials listened to Islamic leaders’ concerns, the lecture planned last year took place Tuesday evening under tight security, with no incidents.

Imam Fouad ElBayly, president of the Johnstown Islamic Center, was among those who objected to Hirsi Ali’s appearance.

“She has been identified as one who has defamed the faith. If you come into the faith, you must abide by the laws, and when you decide to defame it deliberately, the sentence is death,” said ElBayly, who came to the U.S. from Egypt in 1976. ...

Although ElBayly believes a death sentence is warranted for Hirsi Ali, he stressed that America is not the jurisdiction where such a crime should be punished. Instead, Hirsi Ali should be judged in a Muslim country after being given a trial, he added.

“If it is found that a person is mentally unstable, or a child or disabled, there should be no punishment,” he said. “It’s a very merciful religion if you try to understand it.”

I guess I'm just an "islamophobe" who doesn't understand the true message of islam...

The Basij Force was founded by Ayatollah Khomeini in 1979 and one of their duties is to prowl about working places and schools to ensure that everyone adhered to the Islamic code.

In this case, six of the Basij-members killed five people they considered "morally corrupt". You know, a non-married couple walking together in the street etc...

Now the "islamic code" killers have been acquitted of charges by the Iranian Supreme Court.

TEHRAN: The Iranian Supreme Court has overturned the murder convictions of six members of a prestigious state militia who killed five people they considered "morally corrupt."

According to the Supreme Court's earlier decision, the killers, who are members of the Basiji Force, volunteer vigilantes favored by the country's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, considered their victims morally corrupt and, according to Islamic teachings and Iran's Islamic penal code, their blood could therefore be shed.

The last victims, for example, were a young couple engaged to be married who the killers claimed were walking together in public.

I wonder what the other "crimes" were...

Kadra Noor Was Beaten Up By "Expelled" Somalians

Somalian born norwegian Kadra Noor was beaten unconcious last week:

Kadra was attacked and beaten senseless by seven or eight persons of Somali origin, newspaper VG reports.

"I was terrified. While I lay on the pavement they kicked me and screamed that I had trampled on the Koran. Several shouted Allah-o-akbar (God is great) and also recited from the Koran," Kadra told VG.

Kadra linked the attack to recent remarks in VG where she said that the Koran's views on women needed to be reinterpreted.

A couple of days later Kadra herself spotted her attackers in Oslo:

A witness told Aftenposten.no that Kadra, as she's known, was seen downtown around mid-day on Monday in the company of another woman. She was seen making a call, presumably to police, who arrived shortly and arrested two persons in the area.

The two suspects were allegedly part of a Somalian gang that attacked Kadra in downtown Oslo last week. Police have already said they have photos of the attackers from security cameras located where the attack occurred.

Today we can read in the norwegian national newspaper Aftenposten that two of the assailants were "expelled" in 2004:

The two Somalians arrested for the assault of Norwegian-Somalian Kadra last week were convicted criminals who were to have been deported.

The expulsion order came in connection with their committing a series of robberies and assaults in 2003, newspaper VG reports. The decision was appealed, and they were allowed to remain in Norway.

Furthermore, Integration Minister Bjarne Håkon Hanssen, says the two somalian that were expelled three years ago, cannot be sent home due to the ongoing war in southern Somalia. Instead Hanssen suggests a language test (!) to establish whether the men are from northern or southern Somalia.

Boys, now you know, use southern accent and you'll be able to continue in Norway...

Raped For Reading The Bible & Bible Publishers Killed

Islamic intolerance is reaching high toxic levels here. Yesterday we learned that an iraqi muslim man raped a muslim women because she had been reading the Bible:

AN Iraqi Muslim man allegedly raped a Muslim woman as "punishment" for her reading the Bible.

"She was wearing a hijab. The accused grabbed the hijab, the veil, and pulled it tight across her mouth," Mr O'Brien told the court.

"She fell to the floor and she couldn't scream because she had a hijab tight across her mouth."

Al Shawany allegedly raped the woman and later allegedly said: "Let your Jesus help you."

In a police interview, Al Shawany denied having sexual intercourse with the woman or threatening her.

However, the accused had the same DNA as the semen sample taken from the woman's clothing.

If reading the Bible is bad, what about the ones who publish them?

They deserve to get their throat slit, apparently:

ISTANBUL, Turkey (AP) — Assailants killed three people Wednesday at a publishing house that distributed Bibles, in the latest attack apparently targeting Turkey's tiny Christian minority.

The three victims were found with their throats slit and their hands and legs bound, Malatya Gov. Ibrahim Dasoz said. One was found still alive, and was taken to the hospital but later died, he said, adding that one victim may have been German.

Attacks have become more common against members of Turkey's tiny Christian community, which comprises less than 1% of the population, and concerns have grown that nationalism and hostility toward non-Muslims are rising.

Meanwhile, the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is suggesting that Europe is a Christian club.

The Islamic group also issued a fatwa (a religious edict) to confiscate the property of all Christians, to force Assyrian women to veil themselves, to forbid genuflection (making the sign of the Cross) and the wearing of the Cross.

Giant Swastika For Adolf Hitler's Birthday

These are old news (articles from 2000, links below), but I hadn't heard about it before so I decided to post about it anyway.

In 1938, Adolf Hitler got his birthday gift from an enthusiastic Nazi forester by planting about 60 trees in form of a swastika. It can only be seen from the air in autumn when the leaves turn yellow.

This giant swastika was located in Brandenburg (Zernikow), Germany, until the authorities decided, in 2000, to cut down the larches in order to get rid of the nazi symbol. However, they could only cut down 25 of them due to a dispute about the property beneath.

The leader of this program is Otto Jespersen, a controversial comedian and satirist.

Evil Cleric Preached Extermination of Unbelievers, Now Preaches Human Rights

Abdullah El-Faisal, who inspired one of the 7/7 suicide bombers and called for the killing of jews, westerners, hindus and the rest of the unbelievers, even with chemical weapons, now wants human rights applied in his trial.

This evil cleric thinks he has a right, a human right, to continue in Britain:

Abdullah El-Faisal was jailed for nine years in March 2003 for inciting murder in vile rants but he is due to be released this month.

The Home Office plans to deport him to his native Jamaica but the Muslim convert, with links to Al Qaeda, claims he has a right to family life in Britain.

El-Faisal is the latest to take advantage of human rights legislation to make a mockery of Tony Blair’s pledge to kick out foreign extremists. Last night critics condemned his attempt to remain in a country he has targeted in his sick messages.

Labour MP and chairman of the Commons Joint Committee on Human Rights Andrew Dismore said: “He should be deported. He has committed a serious offence, the effects of which stretch way beyond the actual offence itself.

“He is not a British national and should be removed. The sooner he is on the plane, the better.”

Oh, and this creature also believes there are ocasions in which the use of nuclear weapons are acceptable: The country's population has to be 100% infidel.

Furthermore, as all the evil clerics do, he said his view was being misrepresented: "I was not inciting violence. - My talks come from the Koran, so if I'm on trial so is the holy text".

Meanwhile the EU is continuing their jihad against words.

Isn't that ironic?

A Saudi man joked about taking a third wife, an idea that triggered both wives. They attacked him resulting in seven stitches and a lost dignity. So he may have to marry a third one:

"I swore that I would do it because ... they were impolite and that's when I came under an even bigger attack," Ibn Salem told Shams newspaper after having seven stitches inserted.

"I never realized they would get so worked up. But the only way to restore my dignity is really to take a third wife.

The Sin of Hugging

Pakistan's Tourism Minister, Nilofar Bakhtiar, was in France to raise funds for victims of the 2005 earthquake that devastated her country. During her stay she hugged an over-aged frenchman. Now that's bad news.

The islamic clerics went bananas and issued a three-page fatwa:

Clerics of Islamabad's Lal Masjid, or Red Mosque, said Nilofar Bakhtiar had acted in an "obscene manner" and brought "disgrace" to Pakistan and all Muslims.

"She has committed a great sin," said the fatwa, issued on Sunday by two clerics at the mosque's department of edicts.

In the first such fatwa issued by a new shariah court set up at the mosque, the clerics demanded that she be sacked and punished and that her family "force her to ask for forgiveness".

And of course, her friends and family now fear for her safety.

It's the sin of showing affection to an infidel.

The reformist website Rooz reported on April 5, 2007 that the Friday prayer leader of Shiraz, a city in the heart of Iran, had called for more public punishments, as prescribed by “hodud,” Islamic penal law.

After a convicted thief’s hand was amputated in public in Kermanshah, Ayatollah Mohiyeddin Shirazi, an appointee of the supreme leader of Iran, criticized the halting of public punishments, and added, “Those who say that practices like amputating hands belong to the past are themselves part of the past.” He also claimed that imprisonment had no effect “on educating criminals and reducing crime.” ...

Kermanshah judiciary head Allahyar Malekshahi promised more amputations in the future and said that citizens had requested the public amputation.

According to Rooz, following the punishment Malekshahi told IRNA that the punishment had been approved by Iran’s Supreme Court. He added that if thieves “don’t want their hands cut off, they should stop stealing.” Also, the Etemad daily quoted Kermanshah’s governor as saying that carrying out hodud in public “has a visible effect on controlling the crime rate.”

Syria: Pelosi Enables Oppression

As a Muslim, I fully understand respect of our religion by visiting US officials and I applaud that respect. Had Speaker Pelosi worn the Hijab inside a Mosque, this would have indicated respect but for Pelosi to wear it on the streets of Damascus all the while she is sitting with the self-imposed Baschar al-Assad who has come to symbolize oppression and one of the reasons why women are forced to wear the Hijab as they turn to religion to express their freedom is a statement of submittal not only to oppression but also to lack of women’s rights in the Middle East. Pelosi just reversed the work of the Syrian civil society and those who aspire for women’s freedom in the Muslim countries many years back with her visual statement. Her lack of experience of the Middle East is showing.

Assad could not have been happier because Syrian women, seeing a US official confirming what their husbands, the Imams in the Mosques tell them, and the society at large imposes on them through peer pressure will see in her wearing a Hijab as a confirmation of the societal pressures they are constantly under. No one will ever know how many women took the Hijab on after seeing Pelosi wearing it. The damage Speaker Pelosi is causing with her visit to Syria will be felt for many years to come.

She just made it harder being a woman in Syria...
