
This seems interesting. The idea is to generate energy from an energy source that otherwise would be lost, using articulating plates that move up and down when the car passes over them.
The energy produced would be 5 to 10 kW, an energy that could be used for powering street lights, traffic lights etc.
Furthermore, tests show that the ramp, unlike the speed hump, produces no discomfort to the car.
