TV2 will show the Muhammed cartoons tomorrow, Monday, in the documentary "Threatened to silence" (Norwegian language), made by journalist Per Christian Magnus.
Supposedly they'll defend the freedom of speech and use the images to try to understand and explain the outrageous and piteous muslim reactions to the dreaded cartoons.
TV2's boss, KÃ¥re Valebrokk, did not want to publish the Muhammed cartoons last year.
Btw, there are rumors they've already shown the documentary to imams in Norway. Valebrokk denies this...
Will we see more islamic violence and intolerance after Monday night?

Update: One year anniversary of the publication of the Muhammed cartoons.
"The cartoon crisis was the first step to break out of the box in which we have been sitting since the 7th century," Sultan said, referring to the time of Islam's founding. "We as Muslims must learn to listen to others' opinion."
Hattip:
Michelle MalkinUpdate: Comedians
mocking islamic fundamentalists (hattip:
Instapundit). More of that, please! Have you seen BJ Novak's "
Islam and the 72 virgins"?
Update: “Danish Queen Masterminded Muhammad Cartoon Affair”Update: Screencap from the documentary - Flemming Rose, culture editor of Jyllandsposten, holds the edition where the
dreaded cartoons were published 30th September last year. Also read Rose's "
Why I published those cartoons".

And the BBC blames?
The Danes, of course:
Almost everyone agrees that the ensuing row was a wake-up call for Denmark. Ironically, the controversy may have been what the country needed to begin engaging with its Muslim citizens.
Hattip:
USS Neverdock.
At the end of the article, BBC reminds us:
For most Danes, the row is in the past. However, 10 of the 12 cartoonists have still not appeared in public - for them the crisis is not over yet.
Indeed.
Update: The Royal Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
has informed several affected embassies about this Muhammed-documentary being aired tonight on norwegian TV2. You know, you don´t want to hurt nobodies feelings with the
dreaded cartoons.
Update: The Norwegian Islamic Council
has sent a letter to TV2, saying they´re "lacking respect" and that it´s "unwise" to show the
dreaded cartoons. My suggestion to all of you who potentially can go bananas: 1) Do not turn on the TV, 2) If it´s on, turn it off or change the channel.
Update: I´ve just watched the Muhammed Cartoon Documentary. Two words: Common sense. I didn´t expect too much, but I am positively surprised. General idea: The muslims must accept it! And they won´t like it...
Anti-dhimmi. Totally.
Selbekk (Magasinet) got a lot of support and we were able to see how things work "behind the scene", how he was made "responsible" by the norwegian politicians (they were pathetic).
Btw,
Abu Laban was interviewed. I had to laugh when he threatened to flee the country (Denmark): "If I must accept humilliation, I´ll leave this country!!!". You know, shouting and gesticulating.
You.must.accept.it.
Now leave, please.
They also explained how danish imams fabricated the controversy with the extra drawings.
I hope it will be translated for you all to watch!
